Game 8 of the Night - Season 140
Previous GotN Prediction: Long Island 48 - Pace St 17
Result: Long Island 80 - Pace 6
Intro/comments/match-up: Was Long Island mad or else how do you explained this game. If nothing else coach Bigpoppa85 has made a statement to akua29, jaylien1, jms245, mrbig987, and others that he doesn't plan on being the bridesmaid for the third straight season. Three straight first quarter possessions all ended in touchdowns and a 21-3 lead. Second quarter wasn't has efficient as Long Island only scored touchdowns on three of their five possessions. Although to be fair, the last possession began with just 17 seconds left in the half. Same story in the third quarter with three touchdowns and one field goal and a 66-6 lead. Fourth quarter ended with two touchdowns out of four drives and the 80-6 final.
Tonight, the "smart dog" is taking us to his new favorite conference, the Gulf South Conference for a top ten match-up as #3 North Alabama travels to take on #10 Central Arkansas.

Comments: Coach Fazbear05 has done a remarkable job raising North Alabama from being a team that finished being ranked in the 20's. North Alabama has finished ranked #2, #3, and #4 during three of the past five seasons. He also is responsible for four of North Alabama's eight all time conference titles. This season his offense has eight senior starters to include two red-shirts. Defense on the other hand, is junior heavy with seven starters to go along with three seniors and one sophomore.
Team: Central Arkansas
Coach: Seahawkr13 # of Seasons: 5
Roster Breakdown:
Seniors: 7
Juniors: 14
Sophomores: 16
Freshmen: 13
Offensive Formations: I
Defensive Formations: 4-3
Key Wins: N/A
Losses: 14-38 to #4 West Liberty State
Comments: Central Arkansas is off to their best start since coach Seahawkr13 took over. Coach has their team in great position to get their first playoff berth in 98 seasons. Team's future looks bright, but they could be a season too early to challenge yet. Regardless, the coach is ready as he predicts "I can see a upset happening tonight."
Tonight's Prediction: Hopefully Central Arkansas will bring it and at least make the game a competitive one. With North Alabama already passing two tests this season, I see them making it three. North Alabama wins 38 to 17.
