Intro/comments/match-up: Western New Mexico jumped out to a ho-hum 6-0 lead after the first quarter. Team then increased it to 20-3 at halftime. After scoring first in the third quarter to make it 27-3, Midwestern State had a small rally to cut the lead to 27-13 after three quarters. Western New Mexico scored two touchdowns in the final quarter for the final score.

Only one game tonight that's worthy for the GotN. From the Northeast-10 conference, #3 Long Island goes to #14 Southern Connecticut to determine the division title.

Comments: Coach Bigpoppa85 is unique in that he is one successful coach that employs multiple offensive formations. Don't know why he doesn't like Notre Dame...but then again the "smart dog" don't like Notre Dame either. Team is very well balance with no weak spots found at any position. Offense has scored at least 30 points in every game while giving up no more than 10 points in a game.

Comments: First thing that pops out is we found a coach who likes Notre Dame. Secondly, what happened in the Pace game. It looked like the team didn't show up until halftime after falling behind 20-0. Team roster looks good but may be better next season. Coach Bce98a knows the Bigpoppa85 is the coach to beat after losing to him all three seasons so far.

Tonight's Prediction: The "smart dog" don't like coach Bce98a and Southern Connecticut chances to get their first win under this rivalry. In fact, this game has the makings for a big win for Long Island. Long Island 45, Southern Connecticut 10.
