#10 (7) - Southern Connecticut - won 83-14 over SIM. Has interesting game tonight against Pace and then Long Island this weekend. Runs more than passes (331 to 263) so far this season.

#9 (not ranked) - Virginia State - won 47-0 over SIM. Tough loss to Central Oklahoma raises doubts. Team looks loaded and ready to challenge but 24-point loss hurts.

#8 (4) - Bloomsburg - won 65-38 over now #40 Edinboro. Won first two of four game stretch against human PSAC teams. Big game Saturday against West Chester. Another coach that uses his whole roster.

# 7 (6) - North Alabama - won 80-13 over now #69 West Georgia. Has upcoming game Saturday against Valdosta State. Two quarterbacks with over 20 TD passes each.

#6 (10) - Texas A&M-Commerce - Won 73-0 over SIM. 18 seniors leading the team. May just be the team to beat this season. Voters and WIS has team moving up.

#5 (9) - Northern Michigan - won 31-30 over now #16 Hillsdale. First notable win of the season, but didn't get the knockout. Hard to imagine the game would have been as close against the old coach. Outstanding roster; coach will need to prove himself in the playoffs.

#4 (5) - Long Island - Won 59-3 over SIM. Team doesn't have a signature win yet, but has #7 Southern Connecticut coming up this weekend. Has two of the top six rated defensive backs leading a stingy defense.

#3 (2) - Central Oklahoma - won 66-7 over now #28 Angelo State. Also has win over #6 Virginia State. Team has #4 passer, but has a lower than expected 60.1% completion rate. Team is in great shape to finish undefeated.

#1 Tied (3) - Cheyney - won 50-0 over now #55 Missouri Western St. Has wins over #10 Western New Mexico and #12 Ferris State. Team looks ready to make it back to the final 4 again after two missed seasons.

#1 Tied (1) - Humboldt State - won 45-28 over now #16 North Dakota State. Winning as a team. Offense has no players in the top-25 in passing yards, rushing yards, or receiving yards.
