Intro/comments/match-up: Interceptions was the big factor in this game. There wasn't just one, not two, not even three, but four thrown by North Dakota St. Coach Zharkins had North Dakota St in the lead at halftime 21-17 and had the ball first to start the second half. Second play in and INTERCEPTION hits. Humboldt State took advantage and scored the go-ahead touchdown. Then on North Dakota St's second drive, on the second play, INTERCEPTION shows up again. Coach Jaylien1 being the outstanding coach he is, leads Humboldt St to another touchdown and a 31-21 lead. Coach Zharkins displayed his coaching chops by calming his QBs down and North Dakota State scored a TD to stay in the game 31-28. Humboldt State took five plays to go 68 yards and a touchdown. Lastly on North Dakota State's first drive in the 4th quarter, INTERCEPTION showed up one last time. And what happens...Humboldt St scored their final touchdown of the game.

Unfortunately for tonight we don't have any games involving two undefeated teams. On top of that there was only one game involving two top-25 teams. So with no other game to choose from, tonight's game has #16 Hillsdale taking on #23 Saginaw Valley State.

Comments: Hillsdale is looking to bounce back from a bitter, disappointing loss that saw them suffered three consecutive sacks that took them out of field goal range to take the lead with less than 2 minutes left. Following a fumble recovery, with 11 seconds left and a timeout left, Hillsdale completed a pass that took them to the 25-yard line. Unfortunately, after a 5 minute delay for replay, time ran out. Now Hillsdale needs the win tonight if they are to challenge Ferris State for the division title this season.

Tonight's Prediction: This is the first time these two teams meet in five seasons. Saginaw Valley beat Hillsdale three straight times during coach Omcs1981 first three seasons. Saginaw Valley St has a slight advantage when comparing rosters, but hopefully coach Vetrun1457 still has some rust on him from being away from Rockne for 40 seasons.
