Game 7 of the Night
Previous GotN Prediction/Result: Bloomsburg 35 - Slippery Rock 24 / Bloomsburg 45 - Slippery Rock 30
Intro/comments/match-up: A game of spurts is the best way to describe last night's game. After Slippery Rock jumped off to a 7-0 lead, Bloomsburg scored the next 24 points to lead 24-7 halfway thru the second quarter. Slippery Rock then scored 17 straight points to tie the game going into the fourth quarter. Bloomsburg scored a TD with 13:25 left to take the 31-24 lead. Slippery Rock then kicked two 40+ yards field goals to pull within one at 31-30 with 9:51 left. Unfortunately for them, Bloomsburg scored the last 14 points to win the game.
We have our first repeat appearance by a coach tonight as we got another undefeated, top-10 game for our enjoyment. From the North Central Intercollegiate Athletic conference, Humboldt State joins us again as they go on the road to face North Dakota State.

Comments: Coach Zharkins is implementing his all pass shotgun attack that he was know for during his previous tenure in D3. He is probably still a couple of seasons away from being able to beat the top teams.
Tonight's Prediction: An interesting point about this game is the many different approaches coaches take on their path to being successful. I have seen coaches play almost all formations while others limit themselves to one or two. Some coaches take a whole different design by trying new stuff to gain an edge. Anyways back to this game, Humboldt State has too much of an advantage for North Dakota State to pull the upset. Humboldt State wins 31-21.
