Smart Dog's Top Ten (8 Games)
This is the opportunity for coaches to determine who are the top ten teams currently in Rockne DII. The top ten will start each season following the five out-of-conference games and continue until the playoffs start. All you have to do is site mail your top ten teams to me by 8 PM CST. Each evening the votes will be computed and the updated top ten will be posted.

#9 (tied) - Western New Mexico - previously #6 - Won 42-6 over #50 New Mexico Highlands. Easy weekend before tough games against Midwestern State and Colorado-Mines.
#8 - Winona State - previously unranked - Won 72-3 over SIM. 10-30 combined records of remaining opponents. May not be able to stay in the rankings.
#7 - Long Island - previously #9 - Won 55-17 over #37 Stonehill. Division title on line tonight against Southern Connecticut.
#6 - Southern Connecticut - previously #7 - Won 59-3 over SIM. Game of the Night participant against #7 Long Island tonight.
# 5 - Cheyney - previously #4 - Won 42-3 over #59 Pittsburg State. Big game tonight against Lock Haven. Top one-loss team.
#4 - Texas A&M-Commerce - previously # 2 - Won 70-10 over SIM. Schedule is hurting team in the rankings. Still a big-time threat.
#3 - Virginia State - previously #5 - Won 69-7 over SIM. Schedule shown six human coached teams defeated, but the highest ranked of any of them is just #26.
#2 - Morehouse - previously #3 - Leaps back to #2. Shut out #34 Albany State 55-0. Two big victories with different type game plans plus 28 seniors. On cruise for the weekend before St Joseph's game.
#1 - Ferris State - previously #1 - Likes the top spot. Added impressive win over Northern Michigan 41-29 to go with wins over Cheyney and Saginaw Valley St. Not sure how they doing it, but it starting to feel like its their season.
