Game 8 of the Night

Prediction: Winona State - 42, West Liberty State - 10

Result: Winona St - 40, West Liberty St - 7

Intro/comments/match-up: Rushing attacks were a big difference in this game as Winona State finished with a 179 to a minus 11 advantage. On top of that West Liberty St suffered nine sacks and seven interceptions--ouch. Coach Jibe, if he continues to stick around, will continue to close the gap and make future match-ups much more competitive until West Liberty State gets ???

There were a couple of possible games to choose for tonight's GotN including the always hard fought battle between Ferris State and Northern Michigan. My personal take is NMU will win this won IF the coach has time to prepare. With this being his declared final season, he may be waiting until the post season to go out with a bang.

The Game of the Night includes a PSAC game between a newbie to the GotN with Indiana playing host to West Chester.

Comments: Coach Albright73 is still rebuilding his team and will get their first test of the season facing #9 West Chester. He has been running the ball about 80% of the time. That method will need to continue to be successful for Indiana to have a chance to win the game tonight.

Comments: Coach 2000champou is trying to get West Chester back to the top of the PSAC after being dethroned from being their champion his first seven seasons. He has a t0p 10 roster this season to help him get the crown back. After this game there will be a big showdown game in two days against Bloomsburg.

Tonight's Prediction: West Chester uses this game to get ready for Bloomsburg, but does he look ahead too quickly. If Indiana can control the clock and keep the scoring below 21, they will have a great chance to pull the upset. West Chester rises to the occassion and stuffs Indiana's run game and dominates 55-10.
