Game 10 of the Night

The season is winding down and many divisions are still up in the air. We are down to nine undefeated teams and a look at the standings show it's possible to finish the season with eight undefeated teams. There's one remaining game featuring two unbeaten teams. As such, that game earns the right to be tonight's GotN.

#10 Valdosta State travels to #6 North Alabama in a game that should determine the division winner (although Henderson State may play spoiler), the conference winner (sorry Central Arkansas but you aren't ready yet), and possibly a number one seed. At VSU, Coach Champ83 has been there for 14 seasons with 12 conference titles and only one conference loss. That loss was to North Alabama two seasons ago. It's hard to determine how good this version of VSU is since they haven't played any teams in the top 35 yet. Team can run any offensive or defensive formations. Besides RB and LB, it looks like the better VSU team will be next season.

Coach Fazbear05 will be trying to tie his head-to-head record against VSU. This is his fourth season at North Alabama and could have his best team yet. Team played three human-coached teams this season during out-of-conference play and playing three more next season, all that are currently in the top 20. He runs a combination of Notre Dame, Pro-Set, and Trips on offense and 4-3 on defense. North Alabama's defense is very experienced with ten seniors and a red-shirt junior. Offense is loaded with seniors too except the offensive line where two sophomores and a red-shirt freshmen are back up by three freshmen.

North Alabama has been tested this season and has passed each challenge. Coach Fazbear05's chance to tie his record against VSU will be successful with North Alabama winning 35-24.
