S136 Coach of the Year


The Coach of the Year Award is an annual college football award given to the Division II Football head coach whose team excels on the field.

Award recipients are chosen by current fellow coaches.

2000champou Coached West Chester for 7 seasons.

West Chester finished the season 17-1. Semi-finals

Entering the season they were ranked #5 and finished one game away from a National Championship appearance.  WC was known for their high-powered passing offense that racked up over 11000 yards in the air. His defense was outstanding with 61 sacks and 47 interceptions.

When 2000champou took over West Chester they were on the decline with a 1st round knock out in season 129.  His performance has been on a steady incline with 4 second round finishes and  2 quarterfinal appearances.  This season his team finished with a semi-finals appearance.
