Game 3 of the Night

Sorry for the late article, but I went and watched Midwestern State beat Western New Mexico 35-24. Speaking of MSU, they gave Cheyney a fantastic game and came up just short of a big win. On the other side, a big OOC win for Cheyney and making a statement after two games that they have a championship-caliber defense. Time will tell.

Since I am still using the preseason press rankings, we have another excellent match-up of two top-15 teams. It is the SAC versus the GSC. It is the 2nd winning-est coach in D2 with 799 wins against a young coach with 110 wins. One coach is in his 25th season and the other one is in his 3rd. It is Presbyterian at North Alabama.

At Presbyterian, coach Rposborne utilizes both Notre Dame and Trips on offense and 4-4 and Nickel on defense. It has been six seasons since the coach has the team make the final four. Could he make it back this season and possibly win his first title.

On the other side of the field, coach Fazbear05 will bring his North Alabama team to challenge Presbyterian. He runs Notre Dame and Trips along with Pro-Set on offense and all 4-3 on defense. Will we see a rare battle of ND vs ND? One disadvantage coach Fazbear05 will have is that eight of his 11 seniors are SIMs.

I applaud both coaches for this game being their third game against human-coached teams. Great, fantastic, marvelous. OK, enough patting them both on the back. For the game, I see Presbyterian having too big of an advantage with their seniors and end up winning 38-17.
