S135 Coach of the Year


The Coach of the Year Award is an annual college football award given to the Division II Football head coach whose team excels on the field.

Award recipients are chosen by current fellow coaches.

Ojpick Coached SVSU for 35 seasons.

SVSU finished the season 15-2. Semi-finals

They were not projected to make it as far as they did, entering the season under the radar. The last two seasons they were knocked out of the playoffs in the 2nd round and finished 12-3. Ojpick surprised teams after running heavy all season long and once he reached the playoffs he moved to a powerful balanced attack. The result was a trip to the semi-finals which they lost only by 7 points.
