Game 11 of the Night

Not surprising at all, Ferris State took complete control of the game in the second half and rolled to an easy victory. Yes, I did picked Hillsdale to win, but did anyone really expect me to pick against myself? I caught up with the Hillsdale coach following the game and tried to ask some questions. I was unsuccessful since the coach was repeating over and over how Coach Loverboy got him one last time as his recruit at running back ran for over 350 yards.

The watch of the number of undefeated teams that keeps dropping continues. Only one team, Hillsdale, dropped off the list bringing the number left to nine. How many more will drop before the season gets over?

Tonight's Game of the Night was a no-brainer, even for me. We are presented this late in the season with a match-up of two undefeated teams. From the PSAC, #26 Bloomsburg is visiting #29 West Chester.

Bloomsburg is being ran by Coach JMS245. He is in his third season there after a previous 16-season stretch at Angelo St. Team is untested so far this season from having nine games against Sims and one game against an 0-fer team. Interesting note is team only has two seniors on it, both recruited by Sim. Coach JMS245 is playing Pr0-Set on offense and 4-3 and Nickel on defense. It also looks like ND will be in their future offensive plans.

West Chester is led by one of my favorite coach's name, Coach 2000champOU. He is in season 6 of his second tenure at WC. Although he hasn't yet reached the success he had during his first tenure, he is working towards it. He runs Pro-Set and 3-4. Like Bloomsburg, team hasn't been tested much this season since WC has had nine games against Sim and one game against a 5-5 team.

From looking at their season so far this season, it is hard to get a feeling for either team. One big advantage is West Chester has been coached by humans for 78 straight seasons while Bloomsburg is in their third season. All-time season series show a gigantic discrepancy in WC leads 103-1. When the game is over, the discrepancy grows to 104-1 as West Chester wins 56-7 as they rack up 676 yards of offense.
