Game 10 of the Night

Congrats to Coach Fazbear05 and North Alabama in their BIG win over VSU and giving Coach Champ83 his first conference loss at VSU. Needless to say, I'm eating my words since I fearlessly predicted a big VSU victory. The win puts North Alabama on the list as a possible title contender this season.

The list of undefeated teams is now down to just 10 now following losses by Saginaw Valley St (to NMU), Valdosta St, Missouri-Rolla (to Cheyney), and the last undefeated SIM Chadron St. Who will be next?

Tonight's Game of the Night was one I was trying to avoid. I went thru tonight's potential games twice trying to select another game. There weren't any top-25 match-ups to go with and no 8-1 teams battling each other. Therefore, #13 Hillsdale at #26 Ferris State is tonight's featured game.

Hillsdale is ran by Coach OMCS1981. Coach is in his 4th season taking over a team ran by Sim for 26 seasons before then. Some of you may remember his tenure at Indianapolis where he was for 31 seasons before switching teams. Hillsdale has had a fairly easy schedule although they passed their only test with a win over Saint Joseph's.

Ferris State, one season removed from winning the title, is led by CoachOatie in his 4th season also. He took over a loaded team left by the previous coach, but now has a team of his guys except for three senior red-shirts. Like Hillsdale, Ferris State has had a fairly easy schedule too. The big difference is they lost their only test 40-25 to top-5 Cheyney.

This is a toss-up game that I can see going either way. Since I am definitely bias, I'm going with Hillsdale in winning a close 27-24 ballgame.
