Game 6 of the Night

Although I will use the WIS standings in picking the game, there are times when I must deviate and tonight's game is one of them.  These two conference coaches has faced off against each other 54 times.  From my advantage point, they seem to be friendly rivals that helps make their games even better.  Tonight's game is Tusculum at Shepherd.

At Tusculum, you have Coach Clememp in his 55th season.  He has just two seniors on this season's squad but 16 juniors.  Team is currently 4-1, but is coming off a 65-24 thrashing to North Alabama.  Hopefully the coach can get his players re-focus quickly for a meaningful conference game.

Over at Shepherd, Coach Dawgnuts is enjoying his 63rd season at the helm.  With 15 seniors who know what this rivalry is about and definitely want to win their final meeting.

Shepherd is also 4-1 with a disappointing 20-13 loss at tough Midwestern State.

Coach Clememp currently enjoys a 35-19 advantage over Coach Dawgnuts, but after tonight's game it will be Coach Dawgnuts who will be savoring the sweet victory with his seniors.  Shepherd wins easily 42-17.
