Game 3 of the Night
After finishing my 100-mile Hotter-N-Hell bike race and evening my prediction record at 1-1 (I not counting preseason game--Hillsdale cheated but can't prove it), I am feeling pretty good (and tired). Without further ado, tonight's game of the night is Shepherd at Midwestern State. Both teams are guaranteed to make the playoffs so this game is more about future seeding come playoff time.
MSU is coming off an undefeated season that ended in a semi-final loss. Coach Linux Box is in his 11th season and still trying to reach the extremely high bar set by Coach Dessasdad05. On a side note, rumor has it Coach Dessasdad05 will be rejoining Rockne D2 next season. Definitely would be a big plus. Back to MSU, team looks solid across the board with 11 seniors. One potential weakness could be at LB.
Coach Dawgnuts is back with a potential tough team with 15 seniors, of which 8 are on defense. Defense could definitely be the team's calling card this season.
Being a fan of defense and a fool for upsets, I see Shepherd pulling off a defensive struggle (for WIS) 24-21.
