Jersey or Stereo?

We noticed that there was reported recruiting violations last season which found Central Washington University guilty. They missed the playoffs after an excellent season and we all thought it was going to be water under the bridge.

Let's take a look at what options a coach can use to lure the next top recruit to their team -

I've read that if you give it to an AI-SIM that you will get caught and human vs human you won't. It has also been said that even if the recruit does not accept it, that you can be investigated. I think the question is, do you go Jersey or Stereo??

Central Washington University

Last season, head coach AJ-Scarlato at CWU was found guilty of recruiting violations that kept them from a well earned playoff appearance. Rumors were in the background that there could be additional rule infractions to come.

Sports Business News Central Washington to serve 1 year probationary period for 6 recruiting infractions. Multiple players suspended. Lose 3 scholarships during probation period. - 7/23/17 3:28 PM

This could be a major blow to an upcoming Central Washington program. The idea that this heavy blow would happen a season later is surprising and questions if further violations were committed this season. 5 Players are suspended from last year's recruit class until 7/28. They will only face AI-SIM teams during that stretch and all should return in time for the big game vs Humboldt State.

We can assume that we will not see CWU in the playoffs. 6 of their players are likely suspended for half the season and losing 3 scholarships is a big deal!

Winston-Salem State

Surprising news released today -

Sports Business News Winston-Salem State placed on 1 year probation for 1 recruiting infraction. Multiple players suspended. - 7/23/17 3:28 PM

Head coach wfudd77 was surely caught off guard by this news and after a struggling 9-4 season, they will not be allowed in the playoffs this year. While the violation will decrease the number of games they can play, the penalty was pretty mild for FR OL Nicholas Williams who will miss just a few more days of game play.

Wingate Scandal?

USA TodayWCAA probing possible recruiting violations at Wingate - 7/22/17 6:05 AM
